Day 1 - 22 March 2006 @ 4:11PM

WATER!
Internationally World Water Day (WWD) is observed on 22nd March every year.
There is no natural resource more precious than water. Ironically this is also the resource that is misused, abused, misallocated, and misunderstood in such quantities. The world’s freshwater supply is at risk and the question is when and where, not whether, there will be major droughts or shortages that could have a major disruptive effect on business and society.
Here are a few tips to conserve Water.
Use medium flow & turn off tap quickly after use.
Please shut off the open taps if any.
Avoid flushing the toilet unnecessarily. Use half flush where practical.
A dripping faucet can waste 75 litres of water a day. A leaking toilet can use 340 Kilo Litres of water in a month. We ensure to keeping the existing equipment well Participate, encourage and educate your friends on water conservation.
Educate your family members on water conservation
If you notice any water wastage / leakage fix it immediately
Avoid 'running' water while brushing teeth, washing face, shaving and washing vehicles
Never pour water down the drain when there may be another use for it. Use it to water your indoor plants or garden.
Clean vegetables in a pan filled with water rather than running water from the tap.
